I use a cordless drill everyday. My old Porter Cable 14.4 was stolen and I needed to replace it with a reliable cordless. I did some research and decided to go with either the Makita or Panasonic. I decided on the Makita. This drill works great, charges fast and the battery last most of the day. The drill is light which was a concern with an 18 volt. It's very comfortable and fits my hand perfectly. The charger is loud but I'm on construction sites and it's usually drowned out by other equipment. The only thing I don't like about the drill is I have a wide hand and sometimes it bumps the reverse and foward switch and it gets a little annoying. I'd buy another in a dead second.
